Rally Entry Form

Rally Entry Forms can now be downloaded from this website (click here).  The form is in Microsoft Word format so it can be filled out and emailed back to us. Entry forms will  also be emailed directly to yachts confirming interest.

The closing date for receipt of entries is 31 May 2010; however intending participants are urged to submit their entries as soon as possible to ensure a place in the Rally is reserved.

The completed Entry Form and all attachments should be emailed to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it ; please remember to include your yacht name in the subject line. When you send us your entry, your yacht will be listed as an entrant on the website and we will confirm receipt by return email.   Entrant information posted on the web site will include:
  • Yacht Name
  • Nationality/Flag
  • Design
  • Length
  • Preferred Division
  • Skipper’s Name

If you do not want this information published, you should advise this at the time of submitting your entry.  Please allow 3 days after sending your entry before checking that it is listed on the website.  If it has not appeared by this time, please send a follow-up email.

  • A digital scan of your yacht's current Official Ship’s Registration (*);
  • A digital scan of the details page of all crew passports, including the skipper (*);
  • The name and contact details of Next of Kin for each crew member, including the skipper;  
  • A digital Passport-style photo of the skipper/captain (*);
  • A digital photo of the vessel; and
  • A scanned copy supporting your payment of the AUD250 refundable entry fee. Please include your Yacht’s Name on the document. Payments can be made at any branch of the ANZ Bank in Australia to the ANZ Bank in Dili, Timor-Leste to the following Yacht Rally Account:

    All scans should be in colour and scanned at least at 100 DPI (but no more than 300 DPI) and in JPG format. If it is a digital photograph, please make it with a light plain background.
    The AUD250 Entry Fee will be refunded in full, following arrival in Dili or in the event that your yacht is unable to participate in the Rally due to unforseen circumstances.


Electronic copies of the following documents are required as part of your entry for 2010 Darwin Dili Yacht Rally. Entries will not be considered complete until all attachments and information have been received. Note:  All foreigners seeking to enter Timor-Leste on a temporary visa are required to have a valid national passport with an expiry date not less than 6 months from the date of entry into Timor-Leste.

Management of Personal Information
When you enter the event you will be providing personal information and information regarding your yacht. This information is kept in a database and all precautions are taken to keep your data secure.

Your personal details including your email address and phone numbers will be given to Australian Customs to assist with your departure from Darwin.

Information marked with an asterisk (*) on the Entry Form is provided in advance to Timor-Leste CIQ authorities to facilitate entry preparations prior to your arrival in Dili. This includes low definition scanned images of your yacht's registration certificate and every crew member's passport.

All other requested information will be confidentially maintained for a reasonable period and then destroyed. All information provided by participants will be used only for the purpose of the 2010 Darwin Dili Yacht Rally and will not be divulged to any third parties for any other purpose.
